The Brussels Finance and Budget portal is published under the liability of the Brussels Regional Public Service. Through this portal, the Administration makes available to the general public a range of information relating to Brussels’ public finances.

The information contained in this website is the result of substantial work involving the preparation, verification and presentation of the content.

Some parts of this website popularise subjects related to Brussels public finances. These sections are intended to explain certain basic principles in understandable language and are purely informative in nature.

The Law of 7 March 2007 deals with the re-use of public information and data for commercial and non-commercial purposes. The following terms and conditions apply to the reuse of data.

1) for non-commercial use:

b.      Data reproduction and reuse

Reuse of the data is free of charge. This free access does not exclude certain restrictions regarding the extraction and re-use of data from the Brussels Finance and Budget portal.

Copyright and database protection

The legislation on copyright (Law of 30 June 1994) and on the legal protection of databases (Law of 31 August 1998), among others, applies to the entire Brussels Finance and Budget portal and its content.

In the event of commercial use, the reuse, extraction, duplication or reproduction of data and computer code are subject to prior request.

The person or organisation reusing the data from the Brussels Finance and Budget portal may not alter it. They must ensure that the integrity and nature of the administrative document or its html/xml code are respected. Modification of the html code is subject to a prior written request
